Work With Us
We take on the
complex placements.
If that challenges you — we want to talk.
Nurse Aid Australia is a specialist NDIS SIL provider in Adelaide. We work with participants with complex needs — forensic and justice-involved backgrounds, acquired brain injury, dementia, high intensity clinical support, intellectual disability, and autism. If you are looking for meaningful work with real clinical depth, read on.
Who We're Looking For
Not everyone is suited to this work.
Here is who is.
We are looking for support workers, nurses, and allied health professionals who are drawn to complexity — not put off by it.
Clinical mindset
You understand that disability support at this level requires clinical thinking — not just compassion. You follow protocols, document accurately, and escalate when something changes.
Comfort with complexity
Forensic histories, dual diagnosis, challenging behaviour — these do not put you off. You understand that complex presentations require structured, consistent support, not avoidance.
Reliable and consistent
For participants with complex needs, consistency is part of the support model. We need people who show up, communicate, and follow through.
Committed to growth
We invest in our staff through in-house training and clinical development. We are looking for people who want to build real capability in complex disability support.
The Reality
What working at NAA actually looks like
Working at NAA means supporting participants with genuinely complex needs, with the clinical backing to do it properly. Support workers are not left making difficult decisions alone — there is clinical oversight, participant-specific training, and a team structure built around complex caseloads. The work is demanding, and the people who do well here are drawn to that complexity rather than put off by it.
In return, you get real clinical exposure, structured in-house training, and the satisfaction of working with participants who genuinely benefit from skilled, consistent support.
- Nursing-led clinical oversight — you are never making clinical decisions alone
- In-house training specific to each participant's needs
- Clear escalation pathways for clinical and behavioural concerns
- Regular team communication and support from coordinators
- Work across NAA's SIL properties in Adelaide
