About Us
Who We Are
Nurse Aid Australia is a registered NDIS provider based in Adelaide, delivering specialist Supported Independent Living for participants with intellectual disability, autism, psychosocial and mental health disability, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions, and complex physical disability.
Who We Are
Built for complexity
Nurse Aid Australia was built on a straightforward belief — that participants with the most complex needs deserve support that meets them where they are.
We are a team of nurses, support workers, and specialists working together across Adelaide and South Australia. Our focus is Supported Independent Living for participants whose needs require more than standard support. Within those categories, we have particular clinical depth in forensic and justice-involved support, acquired brain injury, dementia, and high intensity clinical care.
We are NDIS registered, clinically led, and operationally committed to the participants and families who trust us.

Our Values
What we stand for
These are not aspirational statements. They are the standards we hold ourselves to in every placement.
Respect
Every participant is treated with dignity. Their history, their complexity, and their goals are all part of who they are.
Clinical rigour
We hold ourselves to clinical standards because the participants we support require it. Qualified staff, sound protocols, and honest reporting.
Accountability
To participants, to families, and to the service coordinators who refer to us. When we take on a participant, we take on the responsibility that comes with it.
Genuine care
Every milestone, every moment of independence, every improvement in quality of life — that is what drives us.
Our Vision
A South Australia where every participant — regardless of complexity, history, or diagnosis — has access to a home and support that allows them to live with dignity and purpose.
Our Mission
To deliver specialist, clinically capable SIL support for participants with complex needs — with the rigour, transparency, and genuine commitment their situations require.
Why It Matters
Why specialist support matters
Supporting a participant with acquired brain injury is not the same as supporting a participant with a physical disability. Supporting someone transitioning from a forensic setting is not the same as supporting someone moving out of home for the first time.
- Staff who understand the clinical and behavioural dimensions of each condition
- Environments designed to support — not just house — complex participants
- Protocols built for high-risk situations, not adapted from general support frameworks
- Reporting and communication that gives coordinators and families real visibility
This is what Nurse Aid Australia is built to deliver.
