Specialist SIL Homes
Supported Independent Living
Nurse Aid Australia's SIL homes are built around the participants who live in them — not the other way around. Specialist support integrated into everyday life.
What SIL Looks Like at NAA
A home. Not a facility. Not a stepping stone.
Supported Independent Living at Nurse Aid Australia means a home — not a facility. Participants live in real homes across Adelaide, with support structured around their individual goals and clinical needs. For complex participants, support is woven into daily life — because that is what their needs require.

Who Our SIL Homes Are Designed For
Built for complex support needs
If you are unsure whether a participant's needs match our capability — contact us on 1300 413 663. We will have an honest conversation.
How SIL Funding Works
Understanding NDIS SIL
funding and access
SIL is funded under the NDIS as Supported Independent Living — a separate funding line from the participant's core supports. Here is what needs to be in place before a participant can access a placement.
If you are a coordinator working on SIL funding for a participant, we can assist with the documentation and assessment process. If you are a family member or carer, we are happy to walk you through what is required.
SDA — Specialist Disability Accommodation
Alongside our Supported Independent Living, NAA provides Specialist Disability Accommodation — purpose-suited housing for participants whose needs call for it. If you're a coordinator or family exploring SDA for a participant, get in touch to discuss what's available and whether it's the right fit.
